I was lucky enough to be sent some gluten-free health bars from Jigsaw Health to try. They are based in Scottsdale Arizona, so I was more than a little suprised that they were prepared to send them to me, as I'm blogging from Hampshire, UK. They were sent 'express' and were with me in exactly seven days. Pretty good huh! It takes longer to get a package sent within the UK in seven days at times

The contents of the box were a box of chocolate bars and a box of coconut and almond bars, with the book written by Pat Sullivan. Pat Sullivan is the founder of Jigsaw Health and has written a book about his journey to full health from a variety of chronic health problems. I'm currently reading this book and it is a fascinating story that gives a very good insight to the world of chronic illness
So the bars! Strange story here! I thought I'd really go for the chocolate flavoured ones, but I really loved the coconut and almond ones .... and I dont like coconut. I've got other people to try them too, and my husband especially would buy them, if they were available here, and he isnt gluten-free
So come on Jigsaw Health, its time to crack the UK GF market!!!

Dianne,
These bars sound scrumptious! I hope that Jigsaw Health sends them to some US gluten free bloggers!!! That's a giant hint - hopefully they'll see it! The book sounds fascinating - I'll have to pick up a copy of it. Thanks for telling us about the bars - I'll look for them locally.
I'm looking forward to trying those too. Jigsaw contacted me weeks ago saying they were going to send me some for review, and I have yet to see anything. Perhaps soon. Sorta funny you'd see them in the UK sooner than here.
Glad to hear you like them!
Hi Ellen
The book is good and the bars are good! I ran a taste testing session at work today, which got favourable results. I'm thinking of sending some samples to a couple of UK GF suppliers!
Hi Mike
I hope you get some, the coconut ones are lovely and sort of fudgey! Oh how I wish I could get them here!
How are the book sales going?
:)
